Wimper
So my computers hard drive died, completely. All my data is gone from it. That means all 6000 songs I'd so expertly gathered after the LAST TIME my hard drive crashed are gone. Well I guess it takes me two fuckups to learn, I went out and bought a five hundo gig external and replaced my computers with a 320 gig. So I can load all my CD's on at 320, which never happened after the first one, and now I have so much memory I can just get some discography torrents. I'm really trying to stay on the positive with this thing or I'll kill myself. I also have a friend who's much cooler than me when it comes to music and he gave me like six gigs of his music two. Tomorrow I get Serato, I will fuck around and upload a little demo to youtube tomorrow, and I have a huge music post that's way overdue.

ANOTHER BIG MUSIC POST!
So I really like these people called CocoTaxi. Here's their myspace. Here's their best song.
There's also an awesome I'ma flirt remix but the zshare for that one is busted. h8 u zshare.
-Hate
Another incase you're still hungry.
-Stay Fly Remix (Give this one a minute it'll grow on you)
In Christmas Spirit I thought I'd put up some Christmas music.
I think this is gonna be big. And I think there are gonna be SO MANY remixes. Oh god I really like it.
This feels like fuckin music.
Ten Deep (one of my fav clothing companies) and DJ Benzi just dropped a ILL mixtape. Some good up and comers, and some lame up and comers. If you like good rap, decent house remixes, and a NICCCE new Cudi song I'd cop it.
I know you've probably seen us, but I thought I should put it up.

Lovja post! I have a couple that are growing on me. The most sexual song I've heard in awhile, via Common+Kanye+remixed by Pharrell. Speaking of Kid Cudi. And I also found a couple characters I thought we could book to perform at our live sets:
Dog
BIG MUSIC POST!
N.A.S.A. (ft. Kanye West, Santogold & Lykke Li) - Gifted
Dudes on the forum I got these off were all debating which one they liked more. I think I'm for slower. Just cuz I know I could grind HARD to it.
This track has Kanye on it also, but is good because he's just guesting.
So many Cut Copy Remixes out recently. I'm not too into them but this one is okay, I can see it getting something real grimey over it and being good.
I kinda like Travis Barker remixes.
Know I'm super late on this, but figured I'd put it up. Cudi and Wale did a show at the Highline Ballroom Tuesday and supposedly MAD industry heads were there. Even Leonardo Dicaprio showed up, seriously.
This song is decent techno hip-hop.
I don't know what song this is, I feel like I could figure out with some simple googling but I've blogged so hard I think I'm gonna go outside for a while. Here's the video for this song. It's bannanas.

Purr

Yeah that sounds fine. I like our styles juxtaposed with each other. I vote painting our faces in simple black and white as dog and cat respectively. I just want to have whiskers and be a pussy. It's kind of old, but I think we should do a little som'som with The Killers' new single. Very poppy and anthemic. With a little kick in the pants I think it could be fun dance material. I watched the Justice documentary, A CROSS THE UNIVERSE. What an infernal bore. All the hard-on moments are neatly packaged in the trailer. That altbro writhing and screaming in the strobe light goes on for about 30 seconds in the film, though. That made it worth it.

Dude this is so funny it's not. HRO has been so funny lately.
I'm gonna try and have a big music post soon, but I'm really not happy with the internets right now. I could post up some really lame albums that have dropped, but there's really no point. Also I was thinking maybe for our profile pic we could just dress real cool and hold pieces of paper that say dog and cat. Or something like that. Maybe have someone who's good at graffiti tag it behind us? Just brainstorming cuz I feel like we're never gonna find a dog shirt.

Been working all day to finish this english portfolio, and I get an extension. So here's some free time at home spent on something fun. So as you know I'm always reading, trying to get our knowledge up. I found a really interesting post on this forum. Just listen to the song don't dl it, and then read what that dude says at the bottom. I hardly understand what he says but in the next few days I'm gonna learn up on those dudes, just so we can be much smarter on our specific remix genres.
Umm there's gonna be a lil wayne documentary premiering at Sundance.

This is INSANE

I'm not finding much internet gold recently.

Couldn't have said it better myself:
"Yall. ’sorry about the lack of posts.’ I have read on other blogs that blogs are maintained by people who have ‘real livez”. Sometimes, these real lives’ can get ‘totally stressed.’ The blog is put on the backburner because there are more important things in life than a ‘little section of the internet.’

n e ways… I am s000000000 stressed. Shoulda studied more all year! I am suuuch a procrastinator! It’s kinda weird cuz I actually like learning, and I like interesting stuff but I never study until the last minute! h8 myself! but it always works out. I usually pull ‘meaningful all nighters’ with groups of my closest friends. We put on our comfiest jogging pants and sweaters, and take over local coffee shops/dorm study lounges/other places that are better for socializing than studying.
My fave part about exam week is telling other ppl what I have 2 do. It is important that they know that my life is more important than theirs because I have more things to do, and the tasks which I must perform are more important than theirs. There is s0 little time between now and exams. I won’t get to do the things that I’d like to do for recreation, but sacrificing these desires once every six months makes me a complete person."HRO

Woof
Maybe I'll post some music on this music blog.
Some UK rapper, his flow could be good over something.
New Jay-z song off Blueprint 3. I kinda hate it, it bites swagger like us unapologetically. I think Kanye is producing the whole album, at least I know this and Jockin Jay-z were produced by him. I think timbaland was supposed to produce the whole thing originally, but just like Kanye Jay decided to survive by biting what's hottest.
I didn't feel this at first, but it bangs near the end.
I downloaded Ludacris's new album theatre of the mind, and I could put the link up here, but I feel like that's the shit that gets RIAA on ya. So here's the best track on it, and the one that girls are gonna want to hear.
I like this for mixing
AND
This is FUCKING hilarious
Edit: Youtube keeps trying to take this video down, I'm gonna keep finding new links and putting it up, you can't control the fucking internets man.
Firebrand tomorrow?

I downloaded a trial of this awesome music editing software called Abelton, and it's really sick. It's so fucking hard to use but it's what (some) professional producers use and I THINK there's a way we can output tracks at 320 with it, if we got the full version or a cracked version. It's got a crazy sampler too, I've been messing with it with amazing results. We need to meet sometime this week if possible. I don't want to put up all the crappy quality pacemaker mixes we have, and I really want to start putting out real quality shit. I'm emailing those dudes about sound 402 & 404 tonight; Turner was on my plane and he was interested in it too so I think we could have an amazing little class if I got my roll on with the emailing. I've also been thinking about sampling this soundclip from this cartoon network show and chopping it and seeing if this local area rapper would want to use it for his mixtape. PRODUCTION SON.
This is what we sample.
Got no DJ lessons while I was home. Kinda feelin like we're losing momentum.

I'm having some issues with the monster post I'm about to put up. I think the mixer might have died dude. Which is so shitty haha, I couldn't get any sound out of it, like it wouldn't register on the lights, and the headphones weren't giving me anything either. SO I'm gonna fuck with it more today, and if things go good, HUGE post with all our stuff recorded with the tag on it, and all the new stuff we've been working on and haven't played. Aside from all the noise issues it was a good gig on Saturday man, and I love the pics. I think it will soon be a standard to post cute Vu picks on the blog.

I chase mice.
Here's my take.
I made it as elaborate as I could without muddling it to demonstrate the soundscapes we can incorporate. We can design a legit one on Friday or thereafter.

So I made some tags for remixs we make from now on. They're not the best but here's the site I used incase you have a good idea and wanna make your own. I did the mixer recording into garageband thing to make them and it was relatively quick.

Here's the crazy 14 minute mix. Now that things are going okay with the mixer recording I'm gonna record that other sick transition I did too. But later.
Ps. I found out how to listen to music before you dl it in zshare links. Umm if you replace the part of the address where it says /download/ to /audio/ then you get this page which is hella helpful for listening to stuff. So I'm formatting my ish like this from now on. K peace.
Pant, pant
So I tried for like an hour to find something to work with Arab money and no dice. Your remix is pretty fire too I've been listening to it a bunch. And that we getting crunk track is begging to be laid under something dude.
http://nahright.com/news/2008/11/17/kanye-west-dj-benzi-plain-pat-present-sky-high-the-kanye-remix-project-stream/#more-9953
I spent some time just finding more music so here's what i got. They're streaming this ridiculous mixtape at this site and Idk what to do. We could drop 5 on it (well I could) and get all the files at 320. Then again do we really NEED this? Peep yourself.
I found some bullshit Kanye remix, and as much as I hate everything that's coming off his new album I feel like we should start stocking up cuz it's Kanye and no matter what bitches are gonna want to hear whatever song he picks to be the next single
And this is pretty monster
Finally i can't find out why we don't show up at all on google when I search crackatharsis. I'm working on it. Practice Wednesday or Friday this week? Both?

Dude I'd NUT for the shit on that site. How much do those cost?
Arab Money
Ps I think this song is gonna be big (well get bigger), we should make a mashup on pacemaker seeing as how that takes like twenty seconds once we find songs with matching bpms haha. I BPM'd it at 94.
It also has a really simple dance.

Meow.
I added a little video action to make it uploadable. It's a trans from Health's Heaven to Lo Fi Fnk's Unighted. I think it would be nice as an opener--demands attention at first, gets chaotic, becomes dancey, establishes a good bpm (in the 120/130s) to work with for the first few songs of a set. Soon to come: Tokyo Ghetto Pussy + Cut Copy.

I think this could be good laid over something else. Also I can't really hammer down BPM for it. 122-124 I keep getting. Djay it and see what you get?

That's it I have alot more but I used up almost all of my initiative getting this done, but now it'll be so easy to post when I find stuff, this is a good idea son.
